Mia Skinner will be looking to make the most of her second opportunity at AFLW level after an impressive VFLW season.
Skinner was previously on the Cats’ list for two seasons, but was unable to get a clear run to make her debut due to injury. But after a healthy season in the VFLW, Skinner made an irrepressible case to be called back to the top level. The 21-year-old played all 14 home-and-away games for Geelong’s VFLW side, kicking 21.10 for the season and bringing a strong energy to the Cats’ attack. Skinner has also established herself as an emerging leader, named as one of the Cats’ VFLW deputy vice-captains in 2021.
