Recruited from Melbourne in 2021, the agile Chantel Emonson found her home off the half-back line for the Cats in season six, playing a complementary role in the back five line-up.
Her silky skills and courageous actions saw her consistently be named in the starting 21, averaging 10 disposals at a 76 per cent efficiency rate. Emonson’s leadership qualities were also apparent from early on, with the now 29-year-old elevated straight into the Cats’ leadership group.
