The young ruck was a late call-up to the Cats’ list on the eve of their practice match against Gold Coast Suns.
The 18-year-old Greater Western Victoria Rebels graduate is already a familiar face among the Geelong Cats women’s program, having played four games with the club’s VFLW team earlier this year. Standing at 190cm and strong at a ruck contest, Kalani is still developing as a footballer, but has shown good promise and a willingness to test herself and develop at the elite level.
