Taken with Geelong’s second pick in the 2021 NAB AFLW Draft, Zali Friswell made her mark during pre-season, earning the young midfielder a round one debut.
She went on to play seven games for the season and kicked her first AFLW goal in round six against Gold Coast. Friswell’s outside run and clean skills will continue to be a strength for years to come.
