The first father-daughter selection in Melbourne’s history, Georgia Campbell joined the Demons with pick No.41 in the 2021 NAB AFLW Draft. The 182cm ruck, who poses as a threat up forward, qualified to play for the Dees after her dad, Adrian, did so on two occasions in 1993.
At just 17 years of age, Campbell was one of the standout talls in the NAB League in 2021, averaging 20.9 hit-outs and 8.4 disposals for the Eastern Ranges. She is yet to make her AFLW debut but has relished the opportunity to learn from the likes of Tayla Harris up forward.
