Hailing from the Gippsland Power, Fitzsimon was selected by Melbourne with pick No.35 in the 2020 NAB AFLW Draft.
She is an explosive footballer who can play with impact all around the ground. Fitzsimon tallied 11 matches last season, while registering two goals, and is only expected to grow in 2022. She earned herself a NAB Rising Star nomination last season, rewarded for her speed and top-level skill execution.
