Selected as one of two rucks in the 2022 NAB AFLW draft, McCormick joins the Giants after two seasons in the local AFL NSW/ACT women’s competition.
Identified by the Giants as the best local ruck, McCormick also has the ability to play as an extra midfielder. Familiar with the AFLW environment, the former Queenslander spent the inaugural AFLW season as a train on with the Brisbane Lions.
