It’s more of the same from one of the competition’s premier defenders.
Captain Kerryn Peterson (formerly Harrington) outdid herself in season six, 2022, finishing as Carlton’s Players’ Player of the Year as well as finishing second in the club’s best and fairest. Harrington also returned to the All-Australian team for a third time in four years during season six. With a number of familiar faces departing IKON Park, Carlton fans can rest easy knowing that Peterson will lead from the front and show her new and emerging teammates what being a Carlton player is all about. Peterson is still yet to miss a game since arriving at the Blues on the eve of the 2018 campaign, with the former basketballer from Bendigo showing no sign of slowing down yet.
