Darcy Vescio has been a consistent goalkicker for Carlton since its conception.
Vescio broke the record for most AFLW career goals last year, where they booted five goals against the Gold Coast. Vescio became the first player in AFLW history to reach 50 career goals in round eight against the Giants, ending the season with 51 career majors. Vescio was named co-captain in 2022 alongside old friend and teammate Elise O'Dea, led by skipper Kerryn Peterson. Vescio's athleticism, clean hands, marking skills and consistency in front of goal has held them in good stead and has made them an invaluable addition to any Carlton side. Vescio's positive impact on the community is an amazing asset for the Club, with their willingness and pride to assist in community projects making them one of the AFLW's most loved players. Vescio is set to play game No.50 in Carlton’s season opener.
