Kellie Gibson

09 June 1996

A cross-code athlete, Kellie Gibson began her career playing rugby sevens and won a gold medal for Australia at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics before making the switch to football.

In 2013 Gibson was selected to make her debut in the first AFL-sanctioned women's exhibition match at barely 17 years of age and continued to develop her craft through exhibition matches with the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne Football Club. A premiership player with Adelaide in 2017, as well as one of two marquee players, the exciting forward is among West Coast's most experienced players, having played 31 games and kicked 12 goals during her four years in the AFLW.
