Former rugby sevens athlete Kellie Gibson now enters her seventh season in the AFLW competition since making the switch to football after winning a gold medal at the Summer Youth Olympics in 2014.
Gibson played previously for both the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne in exhibition games before moving to Adelaide, where she was an inaugural AFLW premiership player in 2017, and then spent two seasons at Fremantle. Gibson comes into this season as one of the more senior heads at West Coast with 39 games' experience.
