Recruited from Essendon’s VFLW team, Hayley Bullas is a bullish inside midfielder who revels in the contested side of the game.
She had a productive season with the Bombers in 2019 as vice-captain, backing up from her breakout 2018 campaign where she claimed Essendon’s inaugural best and fairest title. Bullas played every match in the Eagles' inaugural season, while also being the only player to kick multiple goals. Bullas also finished in the top 10 at the Club Champion awards. In 2021, she was one of nine Eagles players to line up in all games across the season, and recorded the second-most tackles for the year.
