Basketball convert Sarah Lakay was selected by West Coast in the 2021 NAB AFLW Draft with pick No.40.
The 19-year-old smashed all-time records at the AFLW Draft Combine in the standing vertical jump (72cm) and the running vertical jump (82cm) and stands at 186cm. Lakay enjoyed a strong start to 2022 playing eight matches and will look to lead the ruck this season after Parris Laurie's retirement.
