One of the stronger defenders in the squad, former Fremantle defender Evangeline Gooch has played over 30 games in her career.
Another cross-code player, Gooch came across from the W-League where she represented the Perth Glory until 2017 before being drafted by Fremantle. Unfortunately, Gooch has been placed on the inactive list for the 2022 season and will join the coaching group as a backline development coach during her recovery from a wrist injury.
