Recruited from Fremantle, Melissa Caulfield has oodles of AFLW experience, having played 20 senior games with the Dockers.
She also has an enviable record in the local amateur ranks, with several WAWFL and East Fremantle best and fairest titles to her name. In 2017, Caulfield made her debut at the highest level and kicked Fremantle's first AFLW goal, building on this form to play 20 matches across three years. In April 2019, Caulfield signed on with West Coast and made just one appearance due to injury. However, the forward and outside midfielder bounced back in 2021 to play almost every game, while also finishing with three goals for the year.
