You wouldn’t have known that Nicola Xenos had missed a whole season through injury if last season was anything to go by.
The young Saint’s return from an ACL injury was just as dynamic as her debut campaign, earning Leading Goalkicker honours for the club off the back of her electric spurts forward. While her threat in front of goal was apparent, her physicality and fierce tackling were just as prevalent, particularly as the Saints got the ball rolling in the back half of the year. Ahead of Season 7, Xenos was inducted into the Saints' Emerging Leaders Group for a second time alongside returning players Tarni White and Rosie Dillon.
