Back with W-League side Melbourne Victory, Jacqui Vogt was used to stopping goals. Now as a Saint, she’s getting used to kicking them. The Southern Saints graduate was brought on as a train-on player in the club’s inaugural season, but had to wait another season for her next taste of footy due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Vogt finally got her shot after being drafted ahead of season 2021, missing just one game after breaking her finger in round five against Adelaide. Strong in the air, smart in her positioning and handy in front of the big sticks, the tall forward is set to continue the promising partnership inside 50 alongside keys Kate Shierlaw and Caitlin Greiser.
