Eight games were all it took to show that Ash Richards will be a player to keep an eye on for in the near future.
Despite the jump straight from high school to professional football, Richards didn’t look out of place after making her debut in Pride Round against Melbourne in Round 3. The silky forward/midfielder held her place in the side for the remainder of the Saints’ campaign, taking part in the club’s two wins in the latter half of the season. While physically suited to play through the midfield and up forward, Richards has shown impressive skill in the air, which will sure be a feature come Season 7.
