Lawson Tavan joined the Swans as a replacement player for Alice Mitchell who sustained a torn ACL.
The 25-year old comes to the Swans from VFLW side Darebin, where she has played since 2012, making her way through the juniors to the senior side. She was part of several premiership sides and has been in the Darebin leadership group for the last three years including having a role as vice-captain.
