Former WNBL basketballer Olivia Levicki has switched codes to join Port Adelaide, bringing height to the inaugural side.
Described as a natural athlete, Levicki was playing basketball for South Adelaide when she was spotted by Erin Phillips – who recognised her natural competitiveness and encouraged her to switch to the Sherrin. Prior to the code switch Levicki enjoyed a decorated career on the court, representing Australia six times on the international stage and clocking up almost 200 games in the WNBL. Standing at 188cm, Levicki is set to work intensely with coaches on building her ruck craft throughout her debut season. Her pre-season work has shown her capacity to learn the game, a testament to her natural skill and determined spirit.
