High-energy midfielder Kate Surman joins Port Adelaide from Gold Coast.
She is known as a consistent contributor with elite agility, and someone who can always find space across the midfield and forward line. Nicknamed ‘Spud’ since childhood, Surman has been described as ‘zippy’ and ‘a livewire’ by former teammates. Having played every game since her AFLW debut in Round 1, 2020, Surman has developed herself into a strong asset on-field whose work rate and determination in the contest often goes unmatched.
