Making her AFLW debut after signing with Collingwood in 2020, defensive midfielder Ebony O’Dea played 21 matches with the club before making the move to Alberton ahead of Port Adelaide’s inaugural season.
She’s built a reputation as a fierce midfielder who also has the ability to play down back. She is known for her strong tackling and on-ball abilities. Having been in the AFLW system a few years, the 22-year-old knows what it takes to perform and succeed at the elite level – a valued trait in a young side. The former Norwood player is a unicycling world record holder and a Rubik’s Cube fanatic – just a couple of quirks that add to her unique character.
