Litonya Cockatoo-Motlap arrives at Port Adelaide as one of the club’s exciting young defenders.
Known for her defensive pressure and tackling ferocity, she will be hoping to cement herself as a mainstay of Port Adelaide’s backline. She started playing football at the age of 14 and has since gone on to play for Queensland’s U18 side, with her involvement in Gold Coast’s AFLW Academy exposing her to the professional side of football. Albeit on opposite ends of the field – Litonya will play alongside her sister Laquoiya, following in the footsteps of her uncle Che Cockatoo-Collins who proudly donned the Port Adelaide jumper for five years.
