Jade De Melo joins the squad as a talented half-forward with an eye for goal, providing Port Adelaide with a strong target in front of the big sticks.
Prior to the commencement of the AFLW season De Melo most recently played for North Adelaide in the SANFLW, sitting in the top 10 for goals in the competition for the 2022 season – topped off by kicking three goals in the Grand Final to propel them to their premiership win. De Melo will be looking to make the most of her second chance at AFLW level after a short stint with Fremantle in 2018, where she was given limited opportunity to don the purple jumper.
