Erin Phillips

19 May 1985

Widely hailed as one of Australia’s best athletes and the AFLW’s most decorated player, Erin Phillips joins Port Adelaide as the club’s inaugural AFLW signing.

Prior to her footballing career Phillips played nine seasons in the WNBA – winning two championships and an Olympic silver medal for the Opals in that time. She returned to Australia and made the switch to football, joining Adelaide where she enjoyed an incredibly successful stint at the club that included three premierships and two league best and fairest titles. The highly-skilled forward currently holds the number two spot on the AFLW’s all-time goalscoring list, a testament to her accuracy and goal sense. Her read on the play is unmatched, making her both a dangerous goalscoring threat and also a strong facilitator for her teammates.
