A tough-as-nails midfielder/forward who loves winning the contested ball, Stanton played all 10 AFLW matches for the Suns in 2022.
She has played a variety of roles in her time at the club, both as a ball-winning and negating midfielder, but has also showed her aptitude as a medium forward. Promoted to the vice-captaincy for AFLW season seven, Stanton is set to become the first Sun to reach 50 AFLW games in round four. She was the club’s first-ever AFLW Club Champion in 2020 and has established herself as one of the most consistent and fierce competitors in the competition.
