Turning into one of the recruits of the season, Bohanna joined the Suns after the 2021 NAB AFLW Draft.
In 2022, she was named in the 40-person 2022 AFLW All Australian squad after an outstanding debut season which saw her boot 13 goals from her 10 games, finishing top 5 in the AFLW. At the Suns’ AFLW Club Champion awards night, Bohanna won the 2022 Most Professional award for her diligence in all aspects of the program. The 27-year-old will lead the Gold Coast Suns as captain for AFLW season seven, continuing her meteoric rise in the sport.
