Howarth is a dynamic half-forward who is one of the most creative goalkickers at the Suns, being named as the club’s first-ever AFLW All-Australian selection.

Howarth has played a career total of 25 matches for the Suns prior to the start of AFLW season seven, with 14 career goals. One of the best set shots at the club, she is also one of the most flexible, with AFLW Head Coach Cameron Joyce able to deploy her as a creative half-back at times or even as a winger. Off-field, Howarth also assisted with designing the Suns’ Indigenous guernsey in collaboration with local Bundalung-Yugambeh artist Christine Slabb, along with promoting the integration of Indigenous culture at the Suns.
