Kustermann was selected by Adelaide with pick No.40 at the AFLW Draft ahead of season seven.
A member of the AFLW Academy, Kustermann can play across half-back or on a wing and has also played as a midfielder for SANFLW club West Adelaide. Competitive and reliable with a penetrating kick, Kustermann captained the undefeated South Australian team at the NAB AFLW Under-18 Championships. he 18-year-old’s consistency was rewarded with All-Australian selection at the Under-18 national championships and a spot in the SANFLW Team of the Year.
