Simmons joins the Crows as an alternative sports rookie following her three-year stint as a guard on the Oregon State University basketball team.
She played for the North Broken Hill Football Club as a junior but turned her attention to basketball when there was no women’s competition for her to compete in. Simmons captained the Australian Sapphires at a junior level and won gold with the Australian Women’s basketball team at the World University Games in 2019.
