Drafted from West Adelaide, Ballard is a small forward/midfielder and is renowned for her accurate left-foot kicking.
Her 2021 SANFLW season was interrupted by a syndesmosis injury during a pre-season trial game but returned part way through the season and was the stand-in captain for their losing SANFLW Grand Final.
