Adelaide picked up Ward ahead of season seven through a trade with West Coast.
Ward is a 175cm defender who featured in 14 games across two seasons, showing maturity beyond her experience and holding down a key position in the Eagles’ defence. The 20-year-old was originally from SANFLW Club North Adelaide before signing with West Coast as a Free Agent ahead of the 2021 AFLW season.
