Hewett returns to the Crows after moving to Gold Coast in 2020 as an AFLW expansion player.
She was originally drafted at pick No.16 at the 2017 NAB AFLW Draft and played seven games for Adelaide in 2018, before an ankle injury forced her to miss the entire 2019 season. Hewett played in the NTFLW in 2021, winning the Gwynne Medal for MVP and Williams Medal for best on ground in her NTFLW Grand Final win.
